What are the featured Non-Profits?
Each concert night, we feature two non-profit organizations in our community. These organizations are invited to set up informational tables/tents on the Old State Capitol lawn for the evening and welcome to give a brief description of their organization from the stage during a music break. To be considered to be one of the featured non-profits, please email us at info@downtownfrankfort.com prior to the beginning of the series and let us know what dates you prefer. Featured non-profit spots are available on a first-come, first-serve basis and they do go quickly, so contact us as soon as possible.

Are you having a Class Reunion at a Summer Concert?
Awesome! We’re so glad you are celebrating your reunion with us. Please let us know about your reunion so we can make sure to welcome you from the stage! We do ask that any reunion tents/tables be set up further back on the lawn (the space closer to the Federal Building is a great spot) so as not to block the view of other folks attending the Concerts.

Can my child/organization/group set up a table on the Old State Capitol lawn and sell items during the Concerts? May I politick for my favorite candidate during the Concerts?
Sorry, we do not allow outside sales or fundraisers on the Old State Capitol lawn. If your child or organization would like to set up a sidewalk stand, we ask that you get permission from the building/ business owner adjoining the sidewalk. We try to reserve the lawn for those concert goers who would really like to enjoy the music. We kindly ask that all politicking be done outside the Old State Capitol lawn.

How can my company/organization sponsor a band?
We are ALWAYS looking for additional sponsorship for the Summer Concert bands. Please contact us in the spring if you are interested in supporting the series and sponsoring a band. Please note: sponsorship does not guarantee a specific band will be selected to play the Summer Concert series, but we do try to match sponsors with specific genres of music if requested.

How do I get my band/my favorite local band to be able to play the Summer Concert series?
Our committee begins considering bands for the Summer Concert series in January of each year and generally announces the line-up in mid-spring. To have a band considered for the Summer Concert series, they must email band information to info@downtownfrankfort.com
